The current set-up of the Dutch Paulich family tree started out of curiosity. It got it's first content from the talkes with close relatives, and they again with family of which the links in the family tree are/were not clear. Thanks to the information received, the various branches of the tree could be worked out. Finally it is the intention to include the following items in or linked to the family tree.

• All persons with Paulich as family name and his/her children who are or have been living in the Netherlands. In this database you can search for information and it can be shown graphically in a tree structure.
• Optionally, and only if the person in question or his/her relatives consent, a description with a number of characteristics, preferable with
  pictures and copies of official papers.
• After finishing, or during the national activities, also finding relatives outside the Dutch borders and finding possible links with initiatives in the family tree area for persons with the Paulich family name abroad.

Searching through the archives so far gave us, amongst other information, most probably the first Paulich who moved from Germany to The Netherlands (Deventer). This happened somewhere between 1795 and 1802. It is not know yet if this Caspar Paulich was born in Germany.

All the help available is very welcome in letting the family tree and the site grow. All information received 'spontaneously' will speed-up and/or replace further visits in archives.
